Ateneo’s Church of the Gesu (side view)

Took a couple of shots of the modern Church of the Gesu over the weekend.  Didn’t have time to shoot the front  though, as I was directing a photoshoot. Named after the Jesuit mother church in Rome, Gesu was designed by architects Jose Pedro Recio and Carmelo Casas to symbolize the Holy Trinity and to suggest the shape of  the traditional bahay kubo or nipa hut.
